Nile Breweries Unveils New Beer ‘Nile Special Stout’ Made Of Uganda

The strategy of claiming that their official website was hacked really worked out for Nile Breweries which is one of the leading beer brewers in Uganda.

It really created hype for the their new beer, Nile Special Stout which was officially launched on Wednesday at their main depot in Luzira, Kampala at a press briefing

Nile Special Stout is a stout Uganda can be proud of. It is brewed with the finest Ugandan malts and roasted barley with water from the great river Nile.

It is beautifully dark and has a truly satisfying taste and surprisingly clean after taste which is a drinking experience crafted specifically for the growing appetite for richer and more rewarding beers in Uganda.

The idea of this stout which will be selling at Ug Shs 2500 was executed by Nile Breweries’ charismatic master brewer, Moses Musisi who is retiring in a few months

“We have local Dark lagers and there are imported stouts on the market, but I would really like to create a stout that will make Uganda proud,” Musisi said.

The country director Nile Breweries Thomas Kamphuis termed Moses as true craftsman whom he has confidence in

“We have tremendous confidence in Moses’ brewing skills; he is definition of a true craftsman, so when he expressed his wish to do something truly remarkable and create something that will be of value for the country, we quickly agreed to move ahead with the project. It is fantastic to see that after many months of crafting the liquid he got it absolutely right,” said Thomas Kamphuis, Country Director, Nile Breweries Ltd.

To the beer drinkers, the new Nile Special Stout is one beer you might really want to sip on
