Nile Special Unveiled As Official Beer Partner, To Take 10 Fans To World Cup

Wednesday night will go down as one of those unforgettable nights for Uganda Rugby Cranes player Pius Ogena as he became the first soccer fan to win one of the 10 coveted all-expense-paid trips to watch the 2018 World Cup in Russia come June courtesy of Nile Special.

This happened at the Nile Breweries Limited head offices in Portbell Luzira as Nile Special was unveiled as the official World Cup beer and the kick off of the #TulumbeRussia campaign where 10 lucky fans will be flown to Russia for the soccer bonanza besides several other prizes on offer to be won.

All Ogeno a former Buffalos flanker had to do was open his bottle of Nile Special, check a code under the liner and type Nile followed by the code and send it to 8008 where he entered a draw and eventually was picked by the computer as the winner.

Ogena was joined by his colleagues from the Rugby Federation and national team as he celebrated

In an action-packed night, several representatives from different games sponsored by Nile Special like the Rugby Union, Pool Association of Uganda and FUFA attended. Also members of the press, Nile breweries staff, and soccer lovers were in attendance and treated to a world cup experience of their own.

Two teams Brazil and Germany were formed where fans had an opportunity to take part in fun games and win prizes. From quiz games to physical challenges, the guests enjoyed themselves by actively taking part as they had bites and watered it down with bottles of cold Nile Special.

The event hosted by sports scribes Andrew Kabuura and Patrick Kanyomozi, also saw Russia-bound singer YKee Benda perform as he sampled what he will present at the World Cup.He is one of the few artistes from Africa who will perform at the World Cup this year

The #TulumbeRussia campaign is officially on and all the fans have to do is follow in the footsteps of Pius Ogena by opening the crown liner and sending the code they see by Typing Nile then CODE and sending it to 8008 to stand a chance of winning the remaining 9 tickets to watch the World Cup in the all-expenses-paid trip to Russia.
