When Bebe Cool, who was the headlining artiste didn’t show up in Mbarara for the regional purple party tour last weekend, many thought this was a deal breaker between him and the host Douglas Lwanga. That isn’t the case according to the BEAT presenter who said that everything is cool between him and Bebe.
“I don’t have any problem with Bebe Cool. In fact, we talked about it before he left and he apologized for missing the show,” Douglas told us.
He also added that he understood the musician and he would have done exactly the same if he was in his position.
Bebe Cool missed the purple party in Mbarara to be in London for Rajiv Ruparelia’s weeding and this was conveyed in a message post that he posted.
“I would like to humbly apologise to all my fans in Mbarara for missing out on the purple party tonight. It all came because I had to urgently fly to London to honor a one day request most important to a fan, a family, a friend, that has supported my music, not only me but a man who has created employment for thousands of Ugandans Doc. Sudir R,” His message read.
