Hours after honourable Ssentamu Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine won the recent Kyadondo East Constituency by election, a section of people took to social media hitting at Jose Chameleone on why he had not come out to publicly congratulate Bobi upon the win.

As if that was not bother enough, rumours also came in alleging that Chameleone was not happy for Bobi Wine’s Victory a thing that the Leone Island Boss strongly condemned. On the same note, we all know that Bobi’s win on 29th of June came in at the time when Chameleone was preparing for his sold out Legend ‘Hit After Hit’ concert that took place at Lugogo Cricket Oval

Chameleone’s not sending his congratulatory message immediately after the win could have been caused by his business with his concert but the critics were not putting this into consideration. On the morning of 30th June, the ‘Badilisha’ hit singer took to his Facebook page thus congratulating Bobi Wine.

Despite the fact that Chameleone did what the critics wanted or expected, they still went ahead to spread  the rumours  that Chameleone is jealous of Bobi’s win but he (Chameleone) had chosen to remain silent until yesterday when he was put to task by NTV’s Douglas Lwanga on ‘The Beat’ programme.

“ I congratulate Bobi Wine and Kyadondo East residents for voting the person you wanted. I am happy for Bobi Wine because politicians have spent a long time despising musicians and In fact my brother Bobi Wine show them what you got and if at all you fail, call me for help. I have nothing new to say in parliament which Bobi Wine won’t say and I am proud we have a person in parliament who is of our thinking.” Chameleone said.

Chameleone also went ahead and said Bobi Wine did not need him to join him in campaigns to show his support for the singer. In fact according to him, he was not obliged to be around the artiste because he already did that to then presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni during the Tubonga Nawe project and had to concentrate on his music.
