Following his recent 66th birthday celebrations, a lot of questions were and are still being asked about the health and physical state of the Kabaka (King) of Buganda Kingdom His Royal Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi

This was after a video clip at his birthday party celebrations showing him in what we are comfortable calling a sick state, made rounds on social media and there is unconfirmed information that he is allegedly suffering from throat cancer.

The video clip has since then trended on social media with many people sharing their quick recovery messages to the King but NTV news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe is not in agreement with social media users sharing the video showing the king in that state.

She took to her official verified Twitter account to show her disagreement with those sharing the video and said “You claim you love His Majesty soo much but you are circulating a video of him in a not-so-good state. Olina amagezi?”

It ought to have been her personal opinion but many Ugandans on Twitter (UOT) perceived it as an insensitive tweet and therefore furiously came at her.

“we can’t keep quiet naawe wen our king is in such a state, lwaki tweyisako nga bamusibide mulubiri instead of taking him abroad for medication. we shudn’t run from reality gwe nyambo.” Said a one Julio

“Gwe ki nakazibwe ogira obutawoma gasiya. Kale mbu nawe otula ku TV nosoma amawulire with dat kind of myopic reasoning. So u didn’t want the bakopi to know about their King’s health condition. How come wen yo husband mayiga came for tofali yatugamba, kale oli mbata yenyini” Said Da Ghost

Most of the comments bashing Faridah over her tweet were written in local language Luganda as shown in the screenshots
