He is one of Uganda’s top singing pastors and he has for a long time been serving the lord at his Nansana-based Light The World church. He has an inspiring history and his life has inspired many especially the underprivileged. On Sunday the 7th of August, the ‘Komawo Eka’ singer celebrated his 32nd birthday.
It was a colourful party that was held at his Church’s premises in Nansana. Being a Sunday, the day began like other normal Sundays but later on in the evening, the congregation gathered at his church to celebrate along with their pastor and it was a thanks giving service for him.

It is an obvious thing on most parties for people to give gifts to the celebrants and when it came to Bugembe, he was given a special treat as he was given a brand new Toyota V8 car. The birthday man, also served cake to the congregation amid lots of ululations.

The same service also acted as a fundraising service for one of the schools in Lyantode district and several things including money were collected to help the needy students at the school.
“Whoever was behind this day, I can’t thank you enough. I heard that so many of my friends from all over the world were secretly behind the surprise. Your love and generosity will not go in vain. Hebrews 6:10. Special thanks to the church family. So far our store is “almost” full of shoes, books, pens, pencils, geometry sets, etc and we still need more. Let’s send someone back to school.” Bugembe shared on his social media platform.
