Eddie Wizzy is a new dancer on the block and he proving each and every passing day that he’s on top of the game. Artistes are booking him to feature in their videos, event promoters are paying him to perform on their shows and award organizers have started nominating him in dance categories.
Because of this high demand he has, Eddie Wizzy was approached by Nigerian sensation Patoranking to be part of his crew but because of money issues, the two didn’t reach an agreement.
“I was approached by Patoranking to be part of his Fire Republic Camp in Nigeria. I was supposed to be his official dancer and this would imply that I would always travel with him every time he has a performance. Whether in Nigeria or outside but the deal never materialized because we couldn’t agree on the monetary terms. I was not comfortable with what he was willing to give me.” Eddie Wizzy said in an interview with Galaxy FM.
The dancer who has featured in songs like ‘Nipe Yote’ (Sheebah Karungi), ‘Tabuuka’ by Nutty Neithan as well as battling Fefe Busi in Dance vs Rap video.
He has been nominated in this year’s AFRIMMA in the ‘Best African Dancer alongside Ezinne CEO from Nigeria, Brenda Derry from Cameroon, Moses Iyobo from Tanzania and Sherie Silva from Rwanda among others.
