Pepsi Warns Public Against Fraudsters Selling Fake Konshens, Busy Signal Tickets

The Konshens and Busy Signal battle of Champions concert dubbed “Come Dance With Champions” is set to be one of the biggest events of the year. And now excitement and anticipation is sky-rocketing and some evil people are taking advantage to con unsuspecting people of their hard earned cash.

This has prompted Pepsi the sponsors of the event to send a stun warning to the public to be careful about such wrong elements who are moving around clubs claiming to be agents and representatives of the organizers and in the process selling fake tickets to them.

The con artistes are also organizing fake ‘Meet and Greet’ parties in clubs where they are fleecing bar owners and events organizers. Pepsi however in a statement released earlier today says these people should be avoided at all costs as they will leave so many people disappointed at the end.

“This is to inform the General Public that they are some unauthorised persons who have been hoodwinking the public that they are involved in the Konshens and Busy Signal Concert. They are moving around selling tickets to illegal Meet and Greet parties and conning bar owners and potential investors about investing in the project.” The statement reads in part.

“The 2015 Konshens and Busy Signal Live in Kampala Concert is brought to you by Pepsi, Vibes, Balaam and BK. The only authorised persons to deal with on any concert related activities are Balaam Barugahara on behalf of the promoters , and Jeff Ssekandi Pepsi Customer Marketing Manager on behalf of Pepsi.”

Any information regarding the event- artists arrival, meet and greet, ticket selling points and others, will be formally communicated either through a press conference or the official concert Facebook page. It concludes
