Pet Cat Set To Inherit Fortune Worth Shs. 702 Billion From Rich Designer

Things will never seize to amuse. As millions are dying of hunger and poverty in Africa and other parts of the world, somewhere in Germany, a cat was named in a will of one of the biggest designers in America.

German born Karl Lagerfeld, who passed on at the start of this week is said to have put his cat named ‘Choupette’ in his will and that the cat might inherit $195M which is well over shs702billion fortune.

The Chanel designer was said to have been stating that his cat was his “Heiress” according to reports in France where he was residing.

According to CNBC, it is not yet known how much of the fortune the cat will be inheriting but nevertheless, the cat will still be living her lavish lifestyle.

The cat has lived a lavish life throughout.

However, Karl Lagerfeld won’t be the first international celebrity to have a cat inherit his wealth because the record for richest pet goes to another cat by the name of Blackie who inherited $7M in 1988 and this shows how rich people treasure pets.

Karl Otto Lagerfeld was a German creative director, fashion designer, artist, photographer and caricaturist who lived in Paris. He was known as the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, a position he held from 1983 until his death, and was also creative director of the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi, and of his own eponymous fashion label. He was recognized for his signature white hair, black sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and high, starched clothes.
