Organized by MixaKids and SMS ONE , Mixa In Business Expo is an annual expo with a mission of ‘bringing together young minds in business and give them the opportunity to endless learning in business skills and life skills, confidence building, financial literacy, ICT and much more’. The sold out 2nd edition of this expo took place last Saturday the 10th of November at Uganda Museum grounds
Hundreds of children from different schools around Kampala and neighboring towns thronged the Museum grounds in large numbers for yet another experience of the Mixa In Business Expo which is still the talk on their lips.
This year round, the event was in a more spacious venue, the set up was also new and it had lots of things to offer, varying from bouncy castles, reading and ICT zones, board games, photo booth, face painting to mention but a few
The artistes’ performances began at 2 PM with Alvan and Abigail, followed by Levixone who performed songs like ‘Shuga’, ‘Esaala’, ‘Ponya’, ‘Turn The Reply’ among others before Rockymigyal also took to the stage too showcase her package.
At exactly 3:45 PM, rapper Fik Fameica took to the stage amid lots of ululations from the hundreds of children who had gathered near the stage to watch him
As the children sang along, Fik put an energetic performance as he performed ‘Sconto’, ‘Gwe Abisobola’, ‘Kutama’, ‘Tonsukuma’, ‘My Property’ and lastly ‘Mafia’. Fik was accompanied by his dancer Wembly who pulled his usual breathtaking dance moves that excited the children
Apart from the performances from the main headliners Fik Fameica, Levixone, Rockymigal, Alvan and Abigail, there were more from Sheebah Kibuuka, Buganda Road Primary School, Buddo Junior, Bright Junior School, Firm Found Little Stars Kindergarten Day Care and Primary school, Mpelerwe Primary School, Aga Khan, Triple S, Elite singers, Mixa Dancers, Jamaica Dancers, Wakiso Dancers and Kyadondo Secondary School
