Photos: Participants Given Self Defense Tips At ‘Lucky’s Groove Back’ Season Two

The first season of ‘Lucky’s Groove Back’  organised by Capital FM’s Lucky Mbabazi was held at Star Times Stadium Lugogo two months ago but because it was the last day of the Uganda premier league game where KCCA FC was to be crowned champions, the event had to be moved to Legends Rugby Club grounds for season two.

This at the end of the day was a good option as people enjoyed while benefiting at the same time. Over 300 people attended the second season last Saturday the 4th of May and by the time the event was done, some were seen in a peaceful mood.

“I missed the first edition because I wasn’t certain on what really takes place here but now that I have taken part, I will be attending every edition,” said Faizah, mother of a three months baby.

Before the other drills, participants were first taught self-defense by the Uganda Police and this seemed interesting as many were seen spying with others on what they have been taught.

Soon after that, the participants were then taught basic skills by professional instructors through aerobics, Zumba dance and Yoga among others.

The children were also catered for as they were busy involved in different games throughout the day.
