PHOTOS: The Sights At Peace Mbabazi’s ‘Turinke Mpuungu’ Concert

After relocating to Kampala from Mbarara where she had made herself a name as one of Mbarara’s and Western Uganda’s biggest artistes of all time, last Sunday the 13th of May which doubled as Mother’s Day, Gospel singer Peace Mbabazi Kyamukongwire proved that she can also get a big crowd in Kampala if what Chano8 saw at her ‘Turinke Mpuungu Abasabaze’ concert that took place at the Wandegeya based Club Obligato is anything we should go by.

For months, her concert has been hyped on different western Uganda local radio and TV stations and finally the day came and all roads led to Obligato.

It was a night that saw many revellers come with their mothers and Peace serenaded them to their expectation performing majority of her tunes the fans liked. The support they showed her was encouraging and she probably has more reason to hold more events now that she as tested the waters with both her feet.

As early as 7:30 PM, Peace with the help of her husband Jackson took to the stage to warm up the revellers. Together they performed some of her songs as she prepared for second round which was breathtaking one.

Peace was accompanied by some other artistes like Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Dr Tee, John Ngoma, Joy Tendo, Nankunda Norah, Phoeb Ashaba, Mirembe Simon among other gospel singers.
