When the organisers of Qwela Junction promised that the ‘Bosses Of Bass’ edition was going to be top notch and unmatchable, it was not just the sake of saying it. Last Sunday the 5th of November at Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall, attendees were taken on a ‘Bass Playing’ trip by the headliners namely Tshaka Mayanja, Sammy Kasule, Martin Mutabingwa, Josh Mutebi and Ernest Otim.
It was a night of playing instruments and leaving the ‘bass guitars’ alone, different top instrumentalists were in the building to do a supportive role for these bass players who proved their might in bass playing.
Starting off at 30 minutes past 8 PM, part one of the Qwanza Music and House of Djs organised concert was kicked off by a brief warm up session before some of the headliners Josh Mutebi, Mutabingwa and Otim took to the stage amid ululations from the crowd.
