Photos: When Chano8 Rocked At The 14th Blankets And Wine

It was a wet Sunday afternoon as the 14th edition of Blankets and Wine climaxed. With the revellers settling into party mood, a heavy afternoon down pour threatened to disrupt the fun by dampening the mood. However, trust Ugandans with defiance as they thronged Lugogo Cricket Oval the new home of the picnic event in big numbers.

With pomp and valour, colourfully dressed ladies in skimpy outfits and large sunglasses struggled to outdo each other in the smartness department. The end result was a combination of cuteness and classy ambiance as the dudes refused to be left out with mostly kitenge prints dominating the dope looks.

Chano8 boss Mrs. Elizabeth Mushabe was there too. She was excited to pose with Radio City’s Brian McKenzie Kella

One place that turned out as main stay feature of attraction was the  tent that welcomed their readers, partners and guests from all spheres. There was free wine flowing by Sweet Lips for the guests and fun activities including instant print photo shoots where guests posed with bright creatively designed cut-outs a feature that took Blankets and Wine by storm in the 12th edition. It was also first used by.  at their tent then.

Ushers from sponsors Tusker Lager also passed by our tent.

Top artistes, corporate, DJs, artiste managers music producers, PR guru, socialites and many others, were a common sight in the tent last Sunday as they freely mingled and chatted away with beaming smiles decorating their already excited faces. Some had interviews with the Chano8 Magazine and online journalists who were busy recording and clicking away in their monster cameras.
