On the eve of International Women’s Day, former Miss Uganda 2011 Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai in partnership with Talent Africa Group and TAG Studios, hosted some of Uganda’s celebrated young female personalities to an evening of cocktails and conversations at a special invite only party held took place at the Talent offices in Kololo, Kampala.
After the cocktail which was the welcome, next was a dialogue under the theme “How Influential Are Women In Shaping Society?”. The panel moderated by the host, Sylvia Wilson Allibhai, spoke about range of topics pertaining today’s modern woman.
Notable personalities like the likes of Brenda Nanyonjo, Michelle Omamteker, Peace Menya, Manuela Mulondo, Bettinah Tianah, Mathilda Kigozi, Deedan Muyira, Anita Beryl, Eleanor Nabwiso, Nana Kagga, Cleopatra Koheirwe, Tinah Teise, Mwaj Ahmed, Flirsh Flavia, Cathy Mbabazi , Roz Merie Atim and DJ Vee, were in attendance.
Apart from these, the event also boasted of attendance from loal artistes like Big Tril, Navio, The Mith and Beenie Gunter amongst others.
The attendees were also treated to a tour of the brand new Talent Africa Group Studios (TAG Studios) which is the latest state of the art audio, video and digital content company from where they recorded empowering messages to celebrate women’s day.
