Veteran Rapper Navio surprised many people when he took to his official Facebook account and revealed how in these days where social events are still on suspension, he has been doing some serious work at Zuri Model Farm whose proprietor is his mother Doctor Maggie Kigozi.
The results of his hard work on the farm are visible and encouraging. He posted a selfie photo of him with a hundreds of trays of eggs from his poultry farming project, in the background.
“In this time when social events are still on hold, I have been taking sometime to go do some work on the farm. These are fresh eggs from Zuri Model Farms and we also have bananas, sweet potatoes, chicken among others things” Read Navio’s caption to the photo
Many of the “Ngalo” singer’s Facebook followers were wowed by his venture and encouraged and wished him all the best

Meanwhile, It is almost a year and a half since social events which have been local artistes main source of income, were suspended to curb down the spread of the deadly contagious Covid19
Artistes are in the category of the most affected people which has made many of them resort to asking for handouts from government but not with Navio who ventured into farming and is now earning big out of it.
About two weeks ago, while asked to advise artistes on how to earn income in times like these when social events are on halt, veteran musician Jose Chameleone said that venturing into animal husbandry and poultry farming as a side gig could earn them money as well.
