The Rwanda Burundi night started off on a high at Cayenne Lounge last Friday with a massive star studded attendance. The night was to launch the new theme night that is to take place occasionally at Cayenne and is to feature top Rwandan and Burundian acts in both comedy, music and arts.
The night saw several top Rwandese and Burundian artistes like Dj Pius, Jodi and Big Fizzo all performing alongside Seruka Band. The Mcs of the night were Judith Heard and Mc Arthur Nkusi who definitely left a proper and lasting impression on the guests, one of laughter and enjoyment of course.
However, the fun was cut short by the heavy downpour at around 1:00 pm and the performances had to be stopped while everyone was looking for the nearest shelter or running back home. this was to the disappointment of many as Dr Jose Chameleone and Goodlyf duo Radio and Weasel were in the house with a special guest, Ketchup from Nigeria of the Pam Pam song fame. The event unfortunately ended at the time it started raining.
In attendance, we had several top socialites including Samira, Bettinah of Be My Date, Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi, Gareth Onyango, Nickita Bachu, Alex Muhangi, Ali Dhala of Club Play, Ray Signature, Kim Swagga, Davis Ntare, HypeMan, Cheune, Jack Pemba and Dj Slick Stuart and Roja who were the official Djs of the night. It was basically more of a big social event and all this was courtesy of Flames Events which put together this amazing event.
