Loyalty is one thing that Ugandan entertainers luck especially if someone becomes successful but Salvado Idringi is among the few who have been loyal towards those who have helped him in his various projects.
Just when many are casting stones to Bebe Cool and how threatening to to vote Diamond Platnumz in the upcoming All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), Salvado threw praises at the ‘Up And Whine’ singer, claiming that he is an influential figure in Uganda and how he is a founding father of modern Ugandan music.
“We love him, we hate him, we embrace him, we resent him, all these mixed feeling just goes to show he is an influential figure in Uganda. Like it or not he is one of the founding fathers of modern Ugandan music and we should give him credit for that despite his unapologetic opinions which even I personally sometimes don’t agree with but we shouldn’t take away the fact that he’s been one of the most consistent, hardworking and talented artists in Uganda,” said Salvado in a post.
The comedian added saying that despite the fact that him and Bebe Cool at times disagree on different things, he still likes him and also asked fans to vote him in the upcoming AFRIMA
“I’ve been abused and called a hypocrite for having a different opinion from him but that will never kill my respect for the man I know … so I don’t care what you all think about this post.. I just want to rally my support for this man Bebe Cool to win this #AFRIMA award … His win on a global scale is my win and yours too. If you feel me please go to www.Afrima.org and VOTE for Bebe Cool under the Best East African Make Artist Category…”
