News reaching chano8 desk is that Patrick ‘Salvador’ Idringi and his team are officially treading on Rwandese soil at the moment. This comes prior to his kick-start gig of the Man From Ombokolo East African Tour, which will be hosted in Kigali tomorrow. The four-man team is already breathing in the rule of Kagame, and as evidently seen in the pictures, it is a joyous experience.
According to Tonny Mutengu, his PR the team left earlier today at 9:30 am aboard RwandAir, and touched down in Kigali at 12.50 pm. It was quite the travel, a fun flight with stereotypical jokes and jibes shared among them.
“We enjoyed ourselves, definitely enjoyed the flight. We travelled well and we are safe and sound” Mutengu told Chano8.
The team, which includes Salvador, Tonny Mutengu, fellow comedian Ronnie Vex and official spin-master DJ Roja will now check into the luxurious Hotel Villa Portofino, which incidentally is the venue for the show tomorrow. For now it is all joy and adaptation to the new area, and the best of luck from us back home.
