Club Pilsner is bringing the most massive concert, which is slated for September 20 at Mandela National Stadium.
The four international acts will feature South African superstars Mafikizolo, Burna Boy, Patra and Shaggy.
The 12 hour non stop partying will have a combination of performances from top Ugandan artists and international stars.
Samuel Hooper, Club Pilsner Brand Manager said, “As a brand we are proud to have nailed down these artistes,” said Hooper. “It has been quite a long process, but we are proud to have reached this stage.
“But as you realize it is far from the end. It is only a continuation of the work that has been going on back-end.”
“The choice of artistes was informed by the brand’s drive to ensure that everyone’s interests are catered for, and this is what we’ve got from Club customers countrywide. Nothing will be enforced on anyone. Everyone should be themselves. That’s what Club is all about.”
The local musicians will feature Bebecool, Chameleone, Cindy, Radio and Weasel among others.
Samuel Hopper concluded by saying, the concert is part of Club Pilsner’s greater support to the music industry, growing and supporting several local artistes through various music sponsorships and partnerships including but not limited to album launches, Street Jams, Club DJ Awards and the monthly Unplugged shows.
Shaggy, who has performed in Uganda before is commonly known for his hit singles like ‘Angel’, ‘Boombastic’ to mention but a few.
