On Friday the 20th of April 2018,sad news was all over social media reporting how Swedish musician, electronic dance Dj,remixer and record producer Avicii real name Tim Bergling, 28 was found dead. Since then the music fraternity worldwide is in shock especially after no death cause was revealed.
The news of the Djs untimely death was broken to the world by his representative in an a statement that read “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii.The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time.”
The late Avicii representative also said that no further statements about the Dj’s death will be issued which has created controversy as the deceased’s family seeks to find out what the death cause is,
Avicii’s brother, David Bergling, has reportedly traveled to the Muscat City, Oman to find out more about his sibling’s death as the cause is still scanty. The musician was seen just days ago while posing with fans at the luxury Muscat Hills Resort, which could be some of the last photos of him alive.
Avicii who reportedly made Us Dollars 250,000 a night on tour, had struggled with some health issues in the past, having his gall bladder and appendix removed in 2014. He announced his retirement from touring in 2016, partly because of the health problems and it highly believed it could have been the cause of his death
Fellow musicians have taken to social media to pass on the condolence messages to the family of the deceased who met his abrupt death.
Avicii was born on 8 September 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden to Klas Bergling and actress Anki Lidén. He started his career when he won a production competition held by Pete Tong in 2008 and he was mostly know for his songs ‘Wake Me Up’ and ‘Hey Brother’
