Forgotten Singer Bakri last released a hit song in 2016 and music critics had started writing him off and referred him as a one-hit wonder that will never make it back to the music scene. Word on the streets has it that the “18 and over” hit-maker is finally getting back on track and is in the studio recording new projects.
Bakri revealed to Chano8 that with the current management, he is sure his music career will get to the top again.
“ I have been concentrating on my private businesses as I figure out a very good manager. When I anded on one ( Booby Choomley who is based in the US), the sky is the limit for me. I am already in studio working on a number of projects and everything is going on very well”. He told us
Bakri’s Music career got frustrated after jointly coming together with the late Mayanja Emmanuel alias Ak47 the younger brother to Jose Chameleone but decided to quit music and joined tailoring but ever since then his management has been battling with the artist who seemed traumatized to continue with the singing career after AK47 passed on.
Booby Choomley his new manager also disclosed that the artist is back and busy recording brand new projects that are going to be unleashed soon.
The multi-talented Bakri who is both a songwriter and musician has renewed his contract with the American-based company “Green Money Records” (GMR 5star) that has signed several artists across the African continent.
Booby also won’t stop at only reviving Bakri’s music career but also expressed his desire to spot fresh new young talent from Uganda upon visiting soon. Bakri owns a tailoring shop on Kampala road behind Uganda house. He became so popular in the music scene in early 2016 but later went silent after deciding to concentrate on tailoring.
