Many social media users are still mad at veteran playwright Alex Mukulu after he embarrassed a crew of three boys who came to audition for the ongoing “Yolesa Ekitone” (Showcase Your Talent) competition that airs on Buganda Broadcasting Services TV (BBS TV), over ‘bad body ordour’
Local singer Bruno K is among those who are mad at Mukulu’s action, as for that matter, he asked the public to help him find the boys whom he wants to help by letting them feature in his latest music video and will pay them too.
According to him, he doesn’t want to see these boys be disrespected again just like Alex did.
“Please Facebook help me locate these boys. They have to headline in my next video and it ain’t for free am paying them and I will personally make sure that nobody will ever disrespect them and demotivate them like Mr Alex did.” he posted on his official Facebook page.
He finally got to meet them on Tuesday and asked willing Ugandans to give a helping hand in making the boys’ dreams come true.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I have finally gotten in touch with the boys. Let’s help these boys my fellow Ugandans Bambi. We can do this together Bambi. Let us make their dreams come true,” The singer posted.
Meanwhile, it seems like Bruno’s request to Ugandans to help the boys reached some good Samaritans who have since then donated to them things like clothes, perfumes, money among other things.
Going by his pledge to support them, the “One For The Road” singer is currently busy with them, trying to see how he helps them live their dreams.
He has so far opened a Facebook account for them called “The Real Dance Crew” , managed to get them hosted on NTV’s “Mwasuze Mutya” show hosted by Faridah Nakazibwe, taken them for a spa treat, and going by the look of things, Bruno K is dedicated to take them far.
He also asked the organisers to stop organizing this competition because the judges have negative attitude towards people they have never seen.
“You should stop these talent shows if you are going to embarrass young lads like this judge did. These young men rehearsed for this audition of course they had to sweat because dancing is intense. Why embarrass them to this bit?” He posted
“Yolesa Ekitone” is an annual talent search competition organised by BBS TV to scout talented people in music, dance and drama and it attracts participants from the different regions of Uganda.
