Although many people mistake him for a gospel singer, Hanson Baliruno is a fast-rising inspirational singer who is destined for a brighter music career if at all he keeps the pace he has

At the ‘Africa Crown Music Awards’, that took place in Stockholm, Sweden over the weekend on Sunday the 29th of June, Hanson won four awards which include ‘Best Breakthrough Artiste’, ‘Best Achievement Award Of The Year’, ‘Artiste Of The Year’ and ‘Best Collaboration Song’

The award ceremony that saw African music achievers be awarded for their success in different categories had Nigeria’s former P Square member Mr P as the headlining artiste.

Hanson was more than excited to be announced an award winner four times and he thanked the Black community in Scandinavia for voting him.

“Am humbled and grateful for these awards thank you Black community in Scandinavia and African Crown International Music Awards” Hanson posted on his Facebook Page

Hanson who is not a new comer on the music scene started off as gospel singer-turned politician Judith Babirye’s back up singer before taking on a solo career that has seen release songs like ‘Love Letter’, ‘Yes Yes’, ‘Malaria’, ‘Njaga’ and ‘Kandanda’ among others.
