After announcing his entry onto the Ugandan music scene with ‘Gadda’ – an RnB and Afro-soul fusion a few months back, young singer Price Kiid is back onto the scene.
In his song ‘Gadda’ the youthful artiste who has Congolese roots in the video released together with SK Boi, demonstrated how he has been learning from the legends in the past while trying to cope up with modern techniques of music by fusing the old school Urban RnB with Afro-soul and pop flavors.
This time round he returns more mature and measured as he gives us ‘Memories’. A brand new tune in which he shares his feelings for a lady in which once again he sings with passion and deep emotions about love.
The singer who was born Mukelo Merveille from DR Congo, came to Uganda together with his father and brother before settling here at an early age. Its from here that he got inspired to sing after listening to people like Gift ov Kaddo, Micheal Ross, Allan Toniks that made him fall in love with Urban RnB and Pop music.
Although after moving to different parts of the country, things didn’t work out well economically and musically for his career till he left the refugee camp in Hoima. He then went to the US where his real talent in music came to the front.
So, the quality of production in his audios as well as visuals impressed some people in the music circles who encouraged him on, hence leading to the release of ‘Memories’ the latest of his productions.
In the ‘Memories’ visuals produced by Gerald Ndayi of NDAYIVISUALS, the young singer takes it easy as he hooks up with a babe online and after falling for each other, he sets up to go on a date. However, things don’t go well with his new catch after he receives another call from his other chic.
