Centenary Bank Uganda on Thursday announced musician Ykee Benda as an ambassador for their “5 For Five Jackpot” campaign aimed at rewarding customers for using the bank’s digital banking channels to transact
Benda was announced ambassador at Next Media Park in Naguru, Kampala, where the launch of this campaign was held.
His role is to spearhead its engagements and encourage their clients to participate in this reward campaign that will run for 3 months.
Celebrated local drama actor and radio presenter Abbey Mukiibi was also announced as this same campaign’s ambassador
“I am very humbled and very glad. I’ve been a very big client of centenary since I started earning” Ykee said at the launch.
In the 5 For Five Jackpot campaign, Centenary Bank clients who transact at least 5 times or more using the digital banking channels like CenteVisa, CenteMobile and CenteAgent get chances to win Ug Shs 100,000 weekly.
” Today, we also launching a customer-centered campaign dubbed “5 FOR Five Jackpot”. This new Transact and win campaign is another way Centenary Bank wishes to appreciate its customers for the continued uptake of its digital channels; CenteVisa, CenteMobile, and CenteAgents and to encourage them to continue transacting conveniently while staying safe and healthy.” Centenary Bank Managing Director Mr. Fabian Kasi said at the launch
For this campaign, they partnered with Craft Silicon which is a company that provides the mobile banking system on which the CenteOn the go platform runs and Jumia Uganda which will avail their online market place for the Bank’s clients to pay for goods and services during the campaign.
