Talent Africa’s Producer Samurae Wins Big At MTN Hip Hop Awards

The 2020 MTN Hip Hop Award aimed at recognizing and awarding achievers in the Hip Hop music field were held last Friday the 29th of February 2020 at the MTN Warehouse located in Kampala Industrial Area and winners in the different categories walked home with accolades.

Record label Talent Africa’s producer Samurae who has been producing hit Hip Hop tunes for more than ten years beat his fellow nominees to the award of ‘Producer Of The Year’.

Sumarae’s prowess with instruments and ear for listening to great beats has earned him his place among the most respected Hip Hop music producers in the Pearl Of Africa right now and fans weren’t surprised he won

Talent Africa’s CEO Aly Allibhai was delighted about Samurae’s win and had this say.

For over a decade, producer Samurae has been one of the commoms names in the the Hip Hop fraternity as he has been producing and engineering urban music under Talent Africa Studios.

He has worked with some of biggest brands that have driven the Ugandan Hip Hop industry like Klear Kut, Navio, The Mith, Tucker HD, Play 01, Flex D Papper, Byg Ben, Keko, GNL among others.

Another product of Talent Africa is hip hop artist Tucker HD who won Album of the Year for his album titled “Vroom” which was recorded, mixed and mastered and executive produced by Samurae at Talent Africa Studios.
