The quarterly outdoor picnic event Blankets and Wine which never leaves party people seated around Kampala is again back and bigger with the 12th edition. It has this time collided with Easter which is also on Sunday the 27th of March 2016 at its usual happening place The Uganda National Museum grounds located in Kitante-Kampala.
This edition is set to see lots of things happen but above all, it is slated to feature Uhuru, a four man music group from South Africa, Sitenda, Sandra Suubi and our own Reggae veteran Maddox Ssematimba Ssemanda. We expect nothing but the best of entertainment basing on the fact that the headlining artistes are all comfortable live stage performers.
However, the event’s entrance fee has increased from 80,000/- to 100,000/- and come this Sunday, all roads will lead to Uganda Museum where everything from the fun, wine and live music performances is going to take place and to the Christians, it will double as a day of celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ since it will be Easter Sunday.
The previous 11th edition that took place on Sunday the 13th of December featured multi genre guitarist Myko Ouma, Swahili Nation and Kansouls music crews from Kenya. However, Jose Chameleone joined the performers on stage and performed to the people too. Chano8 will be there to bring to you the highlights of the 12th edition so keep locked on our blog.
