The Ugandan music industry is filled with a diverse depth of talent and today we take a look at what inspires one of the most talented female artistes Irene Ntale.
She started out as part of a church choir then transitioned into one of Uganda’s top divas. In an exclusive interview with Chano8, she said that one of the things that inspire her is love.
‘I love to sing about love, It is a strong emotion that can move nations. I sing about the kind of fairy tale stories that give people hope and the kind of love they aspire to.’
While asked about how she would describe her music, Irene Ntale said
‘I believe am diverse I love doing good music so genre isn’t an issue for me. If the song is good it can be RnB or Reggae, Pop or even Jazz, but most definately not Hip Hop. I can not rap even if my life depended on it.’
