The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has stood its ground and disconnected the analog broadcast for local TV. Many people thought it was a bluff, but shock run through most of them when UCC disconnected the analog connectivity a few hours ago.
Digital migration has been advertised for quite some time and it’s looked at as a step in the right direction. According to our sources, several people can be seen flooding service providers like Star Times, DSTV and GOTV among others.
However, it’s Kampala district that has faced this switch to digital, other districts will follow with time.
