If you watched ‘Thor’, then you are familiar with a character that played as Loki, the adopted son who thought he would become the next king. Well, because of his immense talent and mostly because he’s English, Tom Hiddleston is set to become the next James Bond.
This comes after Daniel Craig, the actor who has played James Bond for four films reportedly told studio bosses that he is “done” with the role. The 48-year-old is said to have turned down a £68million offer from MGM studio to return as the British Secret Service agent for two more films and the deal would have included endorsements, profit shares, and a co-producing role.
Craig, who has played Bond since 2005 is reported to have been paid a total of £38million for featuring in ‘Spectre’, ‘Skyfall’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Casino Royale’, making him the highest paid actor to play the role.
Besides Thor, Tom Hiddleston, aged 35 years also appeared in other movies like ‘The Avengers’, ‘The Dark World’, ‘The Deep Blue Sea’, ‘Midnight In Paris’, ‘The Night Manager’ and ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ among others. He is 2-1 favourite to replace Daniel Craig.
