Hailing from the Caribbean island of Trinidad, singer/songwriter ARIE (real name Arielle Cowie) began honing her craft from an early age, but her pre-teen passion was hampered by a lack of adolescent assurance. But when a friend urged her to audition for a musical in 2015, ARIE conquered her fears and in that moment a star found her calling. ARIE dove head first into the local music industry and has not looked back since. In less than two years, ARIE has starred in large concerts, theatrical plays, live studio recordings and advertising campaigns, just to list a few of her accomplishments. The highlight of her brief but illustrious career so far has been her performance at Sunset Festival – a music festival attended by over five thousand patrons featuring renowned local and international acts including global EDM sensation Major Lazer, Trinidadian Soca star Machel Montano, and Jamaican Reggae veteran Tarrus Riley, to name but a few. With her soulful sound and star quality persona, she aims to capture the world and shows no signs of slowing down.
