Former US President Donald Trump plans to launch his own social media channel to compete with Twitter and Facebook.
Jason Miller, a former Trump administration senior adviser, told Fox News that Trump will be returning to social media with his own channel.
He said the platform is targeting millions of users worldwide and it’s likely to redefine the game of social media communication.
Trump was banished from the most popular social media platforms Twitter and Facebook in January 2021 as he accused these platforms of not supporting his second presidential term bid.
Twitter and Facebook blocked President Donald Trump from posting on their sites after his supporters stormed the US Capitol, sparking violence and halting the process to certify the election of President Joe Biden. Snapchat also took action and locked Trump’s account.
