Female dancehall musician Slave Ooman says Uganda’s music industry is not bad but it is full of bad people whose job is to destroy dreams of upcoming talented artists like her.
She says her new single Mulekeyo produced under Sipapa entertainment is dedicated to all haters and bad people who are working a lot to frustrate her music carrier
“The Ugandan entertainment Industry is not bad so far, but it has a lot of haters. My bad gal character arose because I have been working with bad people who do not wish me well,” he said on Friday night while appearing on Bukedde Television’s weekly programme Ful Doz hosted by Flavia Namulindwa.
She however, refused to disclose the people her song Mulekeyo was targeting because of professional reasons.
“Mulekeyo is dedicated to those people, some are producers, others are managers while others are promoters and our own brothers and sisters,” she pointed out.
She told her fans that she is a dedicated raga dancehall artist who can make it big in the industry if producers and promoters help her out with her Talent.
“I have everything. I have the songs, the talent and the character to be a top diva like Cindy but lack of resources is letting me down,” she added.
