First it was Bbale Francis, then Andrew Patrick Luwandaga and the latest we are getting is that veteran radio presenter Mulindwa Muwonge has also passed on.
Mulindwa Muwonge who has been presenting at Star FM, a station under Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) died a few hours ago from Nsambya Hospital where he has been admitted for about a week.
According sources close to the family, the former Central Broadcasting Service (CBS) presenter it is said suffered low blood pressure last Wednesday and his family was forced to take him to Lion’s clinic in Rubaga where he was transferred to Nsambya for further treatment.
By the time of his death, the veteran presenter has been on life support in the Intensive Care Unit in Nsambya battling the heart problem.
Mulindwa Muwonge is one of the people who shaped the face of radio in Uganda with his hardcore hoarse voice and his radio journey started at CBS in Mengo before he shifted to Super FM Rubaga and then Star FM discussing different topical issues. He was also father to Jamilah Namuyiga Muwonge who works at spark TV
