Rapper Navio has already built a reputation as a Hiphop icon across East Africa and continues to live by that as he churns the finest tunes in this genre.
Although in the later years of his career he has veered towards other genres or fused them here and there, he is back with another tune where he features another talented rapper Flex d’Paper and super Producer and Singer Daddy Andre on his latest release dubbed ‘Bangi’.
In this production which has seen some of the finest mix of talent and experience come together like never before.
After releasing the top selling Ugandan Album of the year so far, “Strength In Numbers”, Navio has literally been trending throughout the last few months. We have seen him gain big acalim for the album and also featured on the Saturday TV Dance shows with energetic performances.
He didn’t just stop at that but also remember he was among the first ever to host Online Launch Concert done in Africa.
On the other hand, Daddy Andre and Flex d’Paper’s rise to the top has been consistent. They have gained ground in unpredictable ways with Andre becoming a household name and Flex achieving the Video of the Year accolade at the UG Hip Hop Awards.
The single “Bangi” is therefore Navio’s first official single of the year and the first to be pushed after the album “Strength In Numbers” has come out. The song was produced by Icon Studio’s own Mio Made.
Producer Sasha Vybz who is the most sought after Director in EA right now once again showed why he is in such a big demand.. He literally outdid himself in the video, with Pineapple Bay for the first time in Lake Victoria acting as the backdrop for this amazing video. The MV Vanessa was the boat that was featured and the waves of Lake Victoria around her bow made for a quality ride that could be felt in the video.
