When you look at one of Uganda’s veteran and biggest female Djs Rachael for the first time, you are easily going to notice something masculine about her especially her dress code. It wouldn’t be a big deal but over the weekend, the Dj shocked her fans and the country at large when she publicly disclosed that she is bisexual.
While speaking at woman activist Stella Nyanzi’s lawful demonstration rally that took place at Railway Grounds on Saturday the 30th of June following a walk that started from Centenary Park through Yusuf Lule road to Dewington road and Said Barre Avenue, Racheal asked the public to consider the bisexuals as normal people
“We are here and we are also Ugandans. As bisexuals, our message is, we are also people like you. For example don’t you also have blood like mine?” Dj Racheal said
Themed ‘Women Lives Matter’, this peaceful rally was aimed at creating awareness to the public to come out and advocate for women’s security and rights following the recent women killings that have been going on in Entebbe, Nansana and other areas.
