On Friday, Winnie Byanyima was roasted on social media after she posted on twitter how kneeling is a humiliating ritual. This was after her neighbour always kneels down to greet her.
She was lashed on social media with some people even digging for her old photos showing her kneeling for men. However, we were surprised when a twitter post showed up of Desire Luzinda showing her disappointment in Winnie Byanyima.
In the post, the musician said that the wife to Kizza Besigye took up the roles of both father and mother to their child who has grown up to be an ‘ambiguous person’.

However, the ‘Kitone’ musician came out and apologized for the tweet saying that it was a pseudo account which was not her official one.
“This serves an apology to whoever is offended & affected by the encodings and posts of a pseudo twitter account in the handle name @luzinda_desire pretending to be me.,” she posted.
She added that she strongly condemns this and emphasized that her official account is @DesireLuzindaUG. Anyway the debate still continues with many people giving their opinion on the subject of young women kneeling down for elders especially men.
