After playing James Bond in the last four films of the successful franchise, including the forthcoming “Spectre,” the British actor Daniel Craig could be ready to put the role behind him.
Spectre which premieres this weekend November 6 at the Century Cinemax Oasis mall, may very much be the last we see Daniel Craig play James Bond or not. According to the UK version of Esquire the 47-year-old talked about a possible end saying,
I really don’t know. Honestly. I’m not trying to be coy. At the moment, I can’t even conceive it.
However, recent reports show that the British actor may very much still be interested in the 007 role and is willing to take on one more movie.
He told Event magazine that: “It’s getting harder. But such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able.
“I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions.
“These movies don’t get made very often. It’s just the fourth time for me, a spit in the ocean. If you don’t get excited about making a movie of this size with this cast, with Sam Mendes… then go home.”
The latest change in thought process comes merely a month after he had hinted about giving up on the Bond sequels.
Like most James Bond movies spectre is one you wouldn’t want to miss. Have a look at the trailer in the meantime.
