There is an adage that says ‘East or West, home is best’ and that’s exactly what dance hall artiste Young Mulo has done, going by what we saw during the ‘Battle of champions’ concert between Jamaican artistes Busy Signal and Konshens at Lugogo cricket oval last Friday evening.
The ‘Gyal formula’ artist made a surprise appearance with his former boss and mentor Jose Chameleon when Konshens called him on stage.
Mulo even went ahead to be Chameleon’s back up artiste as he was performing ‘Gimme gimme’ and ‘Wale wale’.
Besides that, we are told the two are always together just like old times before they fell out.
Before Young Mulo started his music career, he was among Chameleon’s crew members and rumor has it that it was the Leone Island boss who encouraged and financially invested in his breakthrough hit known as ‘Tebatusobola’.
Reason for their fall out is still unknown, but info has it that Mulo just wanted to get independent as an artiste which worked out sometime until he hit snags along the way.
Now that he’s back from where he started, Young Mulo will surely get back on his feet.
